Chairman of China World Peace Foundation Mr. Li Ruohong Participates “hand-in-hand, celebrating return, showing love” activity in Hong Kong

On Jul 1st, 2013, “hand-in-hand, celebrating return, showing love” activities were grandly held in five districts of Hong Kong. Rain, laugh, singing and dancing interweaved together and created an atmosphere of spring festival. The passion and order of participating groups as well as the sincere service spirit of volunteers reflected their patriotism. Mr. Li Ruohong, Chairman of China World Peace Foundation, flied back to Hong Kong to attend the opening ceremony of celebration activities. After lion dance dotting, Chairman Li Ruohong said that, ”during the past 16 years since Hong Kong’s return, new opportunities, challenges and expectations kept emerging along with social and economic development. However, facing the changes of international political situations and difficulties of economic transformation, Hong Kong shall get involved in more activities held by international organizations, invest more in developing countries and bring more development space for Hong Kong through folk diplomacy, cultural diplomacy and cooperation with friendly cities and regions.” The principal of LPCPG, social celebrities, and citizens of Hong Kong blended in with the pleasant atmosphere.
